Our Activities

We have great pleasure to mention about our founder visionaries Mr. J. V. Jain & Mr. B. S. Sanghvi. As far as steel tubes / pipes Industry is concerned their practical experience surpasses over last three decades. They were always hearing the voice for ever-growing demand for CDS Seamless steel tubes /pipes in carbon Steel/Alloy Steel/Stainless Steel among the users across the country.
 
Resultantly they determined to install most a modern cold drawn tubes / pipes plant at Rajpur and subsequently the second unit at Chhatral particularly meant for Carbon Steel & Alloy Steel to serve the demanding market. Both the units are now continuously catering to the requirements of our clients, the solid customer base that now expanded to 400 satisfied customers across the country, within the short span of last Five years existence. We have clients from vast horizons and the co-operation that we receive day by day is example rary and enjoying a sizable market share of the Industry for smaller section tubes where our manufacturing is distinctly support for the definite requirements of the customers as per their design, standard and specifications.
 
Our factory is situated by the side of the Ahemdabad -Mehsana Highway at a distance of 45-k.m stretch ahead from Ahmedabad at Chhatral and adjoining Rajpur. 
 
In accordance with the design and standard of our customers demand we manufacture product based on their specifications viz. ASTM, DIN, ASME, IS, BS, JIS, GOST, SAE etc.
Our products category and plant capacity.
1) Stainless steel Seamless Tubes / pipes 200 T/Month.
2) Stainless steel Welded Tubes / pipes 100 T/Month.
3) Carbon steel Seamless Tubes / pipes 500 T/Month.
4) Alloy steel Seamless Tubes / pipes 500 T/Month.
 
Tubes range: 6 mm OD to 457.2 mm OD C.D.S.
Tubes thickness: 0.7mm to 23.8 mm thick
Maximum single Piece length: 30 meters Straight Length. 
 
Our plants consist of the undermentioned major Equipments installed.
 
1) Most Modern state of the art pilger mills: -
The mills are designed to manufacture tubes in single piece length wise up to 30 meters in a continuous operation with in-built arrangement to achieve required reduction in  cross sections to meet the desired tolerances in the operation with better process finish and operational efficiency.
 
2) Continues tube mills: - 
The welded stainless steel tubes are made from the selected qualities of strips and the coils are allowed to pass into the tube mill from the decoiler and it traverse through the forming rolls, closing rolls and finishing rolls to form fold open tubes for welding. In the welding station the squeeze rolls hold the tubes and TIG welding process is carried out by using Inert Argon Gas atmosphere.
 
3) Draw – Benches: - 
Most popular methods of thickness reduction operation carry out in the process for cold drawn Tubes /Pipes. Draw – Bench process ensures cross sectional   reduction of tubes / pipes by an operation of tension and elongation through Tungsten Carbide die and, thickness formation controlled by a fixed or floating plug. Here the entire operations are one time or stepwise depends upon the Mother Hollows feeded for process for finish requirement of Tube/Pipe as the reduction in single process operation can achieve 27 to  30 % results.
 
4) Roller hearth furnace: -
Capable to raise Temperature at a maximum elevation of 1150°C with auto cut off system and Computerized interface for memory and print head for the temperature chart printing. We undergo tubes/pipes heat treatment as per Code or as advised by the customer.
 
5) Bright annealing furnace: -
The tubes are subjected to heat treatment by bright annealing in a “controlled atmosphere furnace”, thereby the resultant smooth surface and reflective mill finish is achieved.  The process advantage of the product is that the tubes in operation will perform superior Performance durability compared to prevalent other methods of heat treatments. It gives a glaring finish on tubes/pipes to withstand on hazardous applications.   

6) Polishing facility: -
The tubes are subjected to polishing to achive alternate surface finishes.  The polished finishes are known in terms of grit finishes.  We have at present in house established outside polishing facility for grit finishes.                                                                                                                                                                      
 
7) Combined additional facility for “U” Bending: -
Our set up is an excellent source for making “U” bend tubes 10 to 15 Meters leg length with optimum formations to arrive output for three-dimensional accuracy.  Apart from established facility for heat treatment of “U” bend portions; there is facility for Dye-penetrant tests to examine the thickness reduction and deformation happening on “U” bend on tubes.
 
8) In house testing facilities exclusively: -
a) Hydro testing facility.
b) Hydro testing for “U” Tubes.
c) Eddy Current Machine for testing all sorts of defects longitudinal & Transverse.
d) Universal Tensile testing machine.
e) Hardness Testing Machine.
f) Complete set up for pickling bath analysis.
g) Air under water testing facility, a superior facility for 100% hydrostatic testing in an immersed state.
h) UT, backup arrangement.
i) IGC practice doing at ISO Certified Lab. as alternate arrangement.
j) Calibrated instruments for measurement and control etc.
k) Computerized microscope for macro & macro examination with print facility.

10) Quality Control Department: - Our quality control Deptt. is directly under control of the Director-Technical who is a Mechanical Engineer by profession and having over 30 years of Functional experience to his credit in the area of tube/pipe manufacturing.  Our qualitative operations starts right from raw material to finish product stage and till materials are consigned to the customers.
