Mr.Kalaiazhagan, a passionate farmer, started his own small-scale business in his hometown, Theni. In the early 1980s Deepan Mills was initially started to produce cattle feed, later built up into a millet manufacturers unit. For the next two decades, they have manufactured millet varieties with the highest quality standards and are committed to prompt delivery. Since 2013 their business has set foot in the National market. They started expanding their inventory with imported machinery and professional staffing.

Today, Deepan Mills has grown to become India’s largest manufacturer of a wide spectrum of millets and traditional rice varieties. Established in around 3.5 acres with over 100 metric tonnes of millet & rice production every day. It is an ISO 22000:2018-certified company that provides authentic and high-grade products. They have also set out their boundaries in Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh & Maharashtra.
