In order to bring awareness in the public on Fashion Technology and facilitate sponsors in promoting their brand Queenz Institute of Fashion has proposed to organize a Designer Show \iti-2017\ which helps facilitate students to showcase their talent. Further we would extend financial support for tribal education in Visakhapatnam Tribal area.

The main mission of the show is to revive the present look of the handicrafts and handlooms. AP handlooms like Chirala Venkatagiri Managalagiri and Dhramavaram are fetching local clients from years together. We have tried our best to give total new look to our traditional textiles and handicrafts which will not only fetch national and international markets but also will uplift the diminishing handloom industry. This show will bring a new air of design and growth to Andhra handlooms weavers and crafts.

iti is the name of the Designer’s Show being conducted by Queenz institute of fashion. As you know every year our students graduate from different design courses. They have to submit their portfolio to graduate. In this process of portfolio presentation they design dresses to exhibit their design capabilities.The show where they exhibit there is named as iti as iti means start in Sanskrit. The show this platform gives the students a “jumpstart” to their career as designers.

Kaleidoscope of Andhra Pradesh is the theme where we are concentrating on all Andhra Pradesh traditional textiles like Venkatagiri Mmangalagiri Dharamavaram hand techniques like crochet of Narsapur and Kalmakari printings. We are using handicrafts like Etikoppaka and Kondapalli toys as embellishments and trimmings. Through this theme we are showcasing the age old textile and craft culture of Andhra Pradesh.

As Visakhaptanam has emerged as one the smartest and cleanest cities of India we have projected OUR CITY’S comeback after Hudhud in an IMPRACTICAL wear. We have also paid tribute to our Visakhapatnam GVMC authorities who are keeping our city clean and smart through our collections. The other most important highlight of the show is we are donating amount to fund tribal education in Visakhapatnam tribal areas.
